Floorbook

Format: Demo | Language: English | Tags: social, research
By: Robbert Elshout and Suleman Shahid | Department of communication and information sciences, Tilburg University

Description
Floorbook was developed to stimulate social contact on the work floor by providing information about colleagues and their activities.

The prototype is the result of a User Centered Design project, and it is based on the needs of employees at Tilburg University. Employees want an application which can assist them in sharing and accessing all relevant information by putting in a minimum amount of effort. Instead of using a global social medium (e.g. facebook), a local and more specialized application was developed to support their everyday needs.
