Programme

Proximity

The Web is coming to us. How close do you want your Web to be? How broadly, deeply and intimately is the Web affecting our personal and professional spheres of knowledge, experience and influence?

This year’s conference revolves around ‘proximity’. We’ll look at how the Web is shifting towards targeted, location-based and real-time information, making it even more social and personal. The Web is no longer ‘the’ destination — we are.

National and international experts will explore the ways in which designers, businesses and users can influence the avalanche of social status updates, targeted information and smart devices that is coming to all of us. The keynotes, parallel presentations, interactive demos/posters and workshops will cover the following sub-themes: Design, Business, Social, Psychology, Research and Ubiquity.

Take part in the discussions about the visibility, transparency, authenticity and adaptability of future interactive services. Proximity, is after all, about you.
